Bug#586081: xserver-xorg-video-nv: After xserver-xorg updates X resorts to VESA, with only low resolutions available

Just came across this bug, the problem I encounted was:

linux-image-2.6.32-trunk-686 installed
linux-image-2.6.32-5-686 installed

for some reason the trunk kernel was in position 0 in menu.conf,
removing linux-image-2.6.32-trunk-686 fixed the problem. If you update
your default to boot linux-image-2.6.32-5-686 in menu.conf should also
fix the problem.
