 There is a fair chance that the mailing list will _not_ be
a flop, and yet add the cost of some extra fragmentation.
So there is a concern that even a successful mailing list
may not be a Good Thing. (see below)

 There is a dilemma here.

1) We would all like to be positive and welcoming to initiatives
 that spur new activity and recruit new contributors.

2) a) We don't like fragmentation and duplicate effort.
   b) Debian Women is an enabler, an incubator.  Some
    Debianistas would like D-W to become redundant¹.
