  Description     : E-MailRelay does three things: it stores any
incoming email messages that it receives, it forwards email messages
on to another remote email server, and it serves up stored email
messages to local email reader programs. More technically, it acts as
a SMTP storage daemon, a SMTP forwarding agent, and a POP3 server.

OpenWrt has the package and it's used quite often.
But also this is an ideal solution for small office or home usage and
especially for Freedombox.

It takes about 1.4mb which is at least twice smaller than Postfix. But
more importantly it has a clear config and makes its usage more secure
especially for experienced users.
The program is very old, well tested, safe, stable and actively
maintained. It is even already debianized, we just need to put it into
repo.

This is a very important thing to make users more independant.
