Bug#974213: ITP: seadrive-fuse -- Seafile drive client FUSE daemon

Dear Henry,

I'm sorry for the slow progress on this issue - but I'm not really super confident that we get this done in time before the freeze.

The biggest issue I discovered is that the seadrive code is not yet made compatible with GnuTLS - it only support OpenSSL. But because of the license incompability betwen OpenSSL and GPL-3, Debian can not ship it like this.

For the classical Seafile client, this has been added after some back and forth and I think it would be possible to just look at the relevant patches there and try to add the required changes here, too.

Regards,
Moritz

Hello Moritz,

Thanks for this ITP :-)

Would you use some help to get it packaged?
I noticed you are already involved with the other seafile software components in
Debian.

It would be really great to have seadrive pieces in time for the freeze of
bullseye.

Best regards,
