Bug#930515: RFP: beaker -- Peer-to-peer web browser

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : beaker
  Version         : 0.8.8
  Upstream Author : Blue Link Labs
* URL             : https://github.com/beakerbrowser/beaker
* License         : MIT
  Programming Lang: JavaScript
  Description     : Peer-to-peer web browser

Beaker is an experimental browser for exploring and building the peer-to-peer
web based on the Dat protocol, while remaining compatible with the rest of the
world wide web.

Dat (dat:// ) is a data distribution protocol for publishing versioned data
sets and generic file archives. As such it can be used to distribute in a
peer-to-peer (hostless) fashion websites and JavaScript applications.
Dat is similar to IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) but more targeted to data
science and hostless apps.

Main functionalities of the Beaker browser:
- browsing over http and https
- browsing and seeding over dat
- inspect all the files that make up a dat file archive ("view source")

==========

The Beaker browser seems like the easiest entry point in the Dat ecosystem,

Note: it is an Electron app.
