Reading over the wiki page, I don't feel comfortable joining the team.  It says":

we expect from you that you:
*are familiar with managing bugs in debian.
*agree to review other's work (patches and packages).

I am not familiar with managing bugs in debian.

Also,  I don't really feel comfortable reviewing other's work.  I'm not that experienced of a programmer, and probably wouldn't understand how most of the other packages work.  I'd be happy to contribute a few packages of my own and maintain them, but I don't want to take responsibilities for handling other people's code that I don't really feel qualified to do.

I don't know if I should be a "junior member" of the team, but I certainly don't meet the expectations for joining the group,
