This netinst ISO version still fits on "700 MB" CDs.

says "673M" as size.

Until the unfortunate error 'out of range, which started this threadk,
the CD/DVD drive had been working.
The iso is Debian-1.0.0-amd64-netist.iso and the sha523sum mathced.
What would ce the effect of updating the BIOS?
