When you have a broken piece of hardware (or faultry), you first find what's not going good before investing funds into this machine... You are telling this guy, go out and invest on something that maybe faulty. So go buys RAM (that may not be easily transferred) for a laptop that maybe the motherboard is starting to be faulty, like problem with capacitors or cold solder.
