It's a lot harder to code for few bugs if the program interfaces with
everything and its dog, as opposed to the program doing one thing and
doing it well.
I would have been surprised if systemd *didn't* have a lot of bugs. It
won't surprise me at all if, five or ten years from now, people talk
about systemd as a mistake we made and later abandoned, kind of like
New Coke in 1985:
