For twenty bucks you should kick yourself for not doing it.

It depends on what you really need the SMP for.  No SMP system is ever
100% efficient, but linux works for me.  I'm using a dual PII system
right now and finding it much faster than when it was a single
processor.

As for a "windoze" user telling you about inefficient products ... I'd
just as well take Micro$oft's opinion, which is to say I value neither
highly.
