I've uploaded a new version of XV. Be warned, this package
DEPENDS: X11R6
So you won't be able to install it unless you use the switch
--force-depends, or Ian M. comes out with the new X11 packages.
I've made XV provide "X11-image-viewer"

This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of the XV image
viewer. XV is Copyright 1989, 1994 by John Bradley.
This package was put together by Jim Robinson <jimr@simons-rock.edu>,
from source obtained from
file://ftp.cis.upenn.edu/pub/xv/xv-3.10a.tar.gz.
Changes:
* added Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance system files
* debian.rules moves docs from /usr/X11R6/lib to /usr/doc/xv/xv-docs.
