\insertauthor doesn't report as empty even when no author is given which causes the
follwing check that appears in several templates to always be evaluated as false
\ifx\insertauthor\@empty
This messes up the typesetting on the title page with no author (the title has the
wrong verical alignment) as there is an empty line inserted

Are you still able to reproduce the bug? If yes: could you provide a
minimal example for testing?


No reaction from submitter for 4 years and no MWE provided.
