I've listed them in the bug. At least the packages, which should do
that.
1. We call updmap in out postinst scripts with the option
--outputdir /etc/texmf/dvips
We should document that in the Readme.Debian, so we can refer to it,
when we submit bugs to related packages. I know, that might change
due to #213310.

2. I will check these two package, which call /etc/texmf/dvips/updmap
, whether they still do it ASAP and submit critical bugs.

Hi,

We from debian-tetex-maint have checked your teTeX related package
and have seen, that it tries to call /etc/texmf/dvips/updmap in it's
postinst/preun script. As of teTeX 2.0 this file does not exist any
more and has been replaced by a script /usr/bin/updmap. Your
(de)installation scripts will fail. Please have a look at
Readme.Debian of the tetex-bin package (section "Note on
update-updmap") how to proceed. Please call updmap with the option
--outputdir /etc/texmf/dvips . The option parameter might change in
the future (see #213310). We'll inform you as soon as we've changed
our packages.

Regards,
  Debian-teTeX-maint
