Bug#139931: tetex-doc: README.pst-osci is non-free and documents package not shipped
Hilmar,
(Grr. My CVS working directory was stuck on some ancient
version.)
If Thomas is including pst-osci upstream, he must be assuming that
it's covered under the same license as PSTricks itself (which is
LPPL).
There's a nice page at
<http://melusine.eu.org/syracuse/mluque/index.xml> that includes a
link to some material on ``pstricks-oscillo'', which seems to be
the same thing,
<http://melusine.eu.org/syracuse/mluque/pstricks-oscillo/rlc_libres_doc1.html>.
I can't read French, though, so I'm not sure exactly what the deal
is here. This site appears to be maintained by Jean-Michel Sarlat
and not by Manuel Luque.
Christophe Jorssen apprears to be alive and well and still working
on his pstricks-circ package. (Homepage at
<http://christophe.jorssen.free.fr/>.)
I will write to Manuel Luque, Christophe Jorssen, and Jean-Michel
Sarlat, and maybe we can get an answer.
