My theory is, that during the tetex-bin upgrade a new pdftex-binary
were pulled in, the formats for pdftex were recreated, but not the
formats for pdfjadetex. Therefore it stopped working. Maybe the
postin of tetex should check for an installed jadetex and reconfigure
that beast, if it exists or after every tetex-bin upload you upload
again an jadetex-package just to make sure, that the formats are
recreated.
