Hi Markus, the error during make dep has happened to me, too. It's caused by the most recent debian gcc.You should either apply the patch from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=221621 (the patch itself is at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=221621&msg=20&att=1
) or use 2.4.23. And for the other problems it could help to define HOSTCC = sparc32 gcc in the kernel Makefile. Andreas
