Thanks for the hint - may be I'll skip Zelig then.  Are there any links
to the license issue with AER?

Thanks for the confirmation.  For the moment I see no need to touch
packages that are in sync with upstream but those who are not and are
worth touching anyway before the freeze will be now on my agenda for the
migration.
