block 1024984 by 686777 thanks Hello Bo YU,The package can be built on riscv64 arch and this is tested on my local real riscv64 machines.the package can even be built on big endian architectures, but it won’t work right there at the moment. The current situation is that we have to use upstream’s build for the embedded Opus library, which is whitelisted *only* on the four architectures listed. It looks like this package is currently an abandoned package which can be updated with QA upload for the next upload. In theory it could, but DO NOT do that. Please look at debian/control which says: # will be "any" once #686777 is fixed # armel might work but better safe than crash Architecture: amd64 arm64 armhf i386 Once we have these Opus functions, we can switch the package to use the system library and then the weird build for the embedded opus lib can go away and THEN we can add more architectures.
Thanks for such a detailed explanation. At present, it seems that the package supports riscv64 is really meaningless. I will update my RFS because I sent a QA upload a few hours ago.
