Package: x2goserver Followup-For: Bug #1026881 Hi, I can confirm this bug, which renders mate completely unusable under X2Go on bookworm. It seems an issue due to Mate in its interaction with X2Go, because other desktop environments seem perfectly working. On the other hand, mate works under vnc. It is well known that x2go is not able to cope with a few DE, so something could be changed lately about mate compatibility. Specifically, it seems the marco window manager crashes at startup and the desktop results only partially working. See for instance the attached screenshot where a mate terminal is running, with no decorations and cannot be moved. Other apps/panels simply refuses to run. Here GLX and composer here are disabled.
