It turns out that the wayland plasma session got selected and that crashed. This is possibly/probably fixed with the -2 upload which happened a couple of hours ago. Manually selecting the 'normal' plasma session and then I could log in. OP: Can you check whether the wayland session was (automatically) selected for you too? And if so, does the problem still occur when you select the 'normal' plasma session?
