Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
update to new/current version of the plasma-widget-addons package in testing!
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Picture frame widget is installed on my KDE Plasma desktop.
I noticed that my PC became irresponsive and slow, ps aux shows that the proces "/usr/bin/plasmashell --shut-up" eats all memory.
Gkrellm shows that first RAM is eaten than swap-space is eaten until PC is dead slow.
Killing plasmashell frees all memory.
Restarting plasmashell, still with the widget installed, results in the same behaviour.
After a reboot, i removed the picture frame widget from the desktop.
Memory stays free.
