I've seen the bug #807379 I described "'libqt5widgets5: Crashing whenwaking up from suspend..." was merged with the bug #790825 described as"vlc crashes when laptop is undocked" - actually it is bug #790825.


I thing both bus are unrelated.

VLC works fine on my laptop. Suspending/resuspending, changing externalmonitor setup do not cause any problems with VLC. I tested it with VLCplaying a video (full screen and in window). Plasmashell crashed manytimes during these tests, VLC is stable and plays video correctly.

I tested also the example program written by Sebastian Ramacher. I couldnot make the program crash. I did the same as with VLC - run the programand started to connect/disconnect monitors.
