Although the Tix page at http://tix.sf.net/ doesn't mention it, there
do appear to have been a couple of Tix point releases made over the
last couple of years, which are available from the sourceforge
download page. The current release appears to be version 8.4.2

maintainers. The reason for it is that man macros are named tix.tmac
and are stored in /usr/share/groff/1.22.2/tmac, which triggers a load
of lintian warnings, since this path is not the usual path for groff
macros.
* reported a bug to lintian maintainers about this issue, with a patch
to fix it.
