Package: hplip
Version: 3.10.6-2+squeeze1
Severity: important
Hplip from aptitude doesn't download plugin.
This is because the .conf file contains wrong address for download.
To rectify this
Visit www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins
Download hplip-3.10.6-plugin.run and hplip-3.10.6-plugin.run.asc from there
Run hp-setup -i from terminal
When prompted give Specify path manually option.
Give the path to the downloaded files (for eg downloaded in Downloads give
/home/username/Downloads
enter
the plugin will be installed and the printer will work good.
