Re: Call for testers: new yaboot package release
Ok I reconfigured linux-base, it changed my yaboot.conf into the
following:
# boot = /dev/hda2
boot = "/dev/disk/by-label/bootstrap"
device=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:
partition=4
# root = /dev/hda4
root = "UUID=a2caa578-59c2-47e7-b928-5cc22955320e"
timeout=100
install=/usr/lib/yaboot/yaboot
magicboot=/usr/lib/yaboot/ofboot
enablecdboot
image=/boot/vmlinux
label=Mint
read-only
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
image=/boot/vmlinux.old
label=old
read-only
initrd=/boot/initrd.img.old
# This entry automatically added by the Debian installer for an existing
# Linux installation on /dev/hda3.
image=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:3,/boot/vmlinux
label=Squeeze_mint
root=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:3
append="root=/dev/hda3 ro"
initrd=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:3,/boot/initrd.img
image=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:5,/boot/vmlinux
label=Squeeze
root=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:5
append="root=/dev/hda5 ro"
initrd=/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:5,/boot/initrd.img
After ybin -v and a reboot I came back to yaboot 1.3.16 successfully and
I could boot into all my Linux partitions without any problems !!!
This is a successful report for a PowerBook G3 Pismo 400 MHz.
Regards
Jeroen
