        I am the maintainer, and I can reproduce this error. I do not
 know what the problem is (I shall be looking at the dpkg-divert
 invocation to see if I have messed up badly). Hmm. Maybe check to see
 if the diversion removal should be in prerm.

        The ugly hack is to edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/libcgi-perl.* and
 remove the dpkg-divert remove invocations.

        Any help for this bug shall be appreciated.
