Bug#799621: unison: new feature "-repeat watch" not working
Package: unison
Version: 2.48.3-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
the new upstream feature of Version 2.48 "-repeat watch" is not working.
When calling
> unison-2.48 <profile> -repeat watch
it first does one sync, but failes to repeat with the error-message
> Fatal error: No file monitoring helper program found
A "locate unison-fsmonitor" gives an empty result.
(When building unison one gets the unison binary plus an unison-fsmonitor
binary,
which is needed for unison watching for changes in the local path.)
It may be sufficient to include the
unison-fsmonitor
binary into the debian package.
Best regards,
JES
