It seems from reading source code, that smplayer hardcodes the use of
Google DNS resolver 8.8.8.8, and uses that address every time the
Chromecast feature is used.  See file src/chromecast.cpp.

That behaviour leaks privacy information to Google:

Please patch code to skip that problematic step.
