About the PR I found out the libcdio cannot eject when space in mount
directory is fixed upstream. I sent a MR to the debian maintainer
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libcdio/-/merge_requests/6 .

If I am out of reach there is a workaround, cdemu (still not packaged
for Debian :-/). cdemu upstream packages have debian build rules. But I
admit I use the ppa on debian

cdemu load 0 dvdvideo.iso
then in /proc/mounts you will have:
/dev/sr0 /media/prahal/A\040TEST udf
ro,nosuid,nodev,relatime,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8 0 0
It helps to test eject.
If you want to test with a video with image and sound, you can converty
any file to dvd mpeg with:
ffmpeg -i <my_random_video.file> -target pal-dvd -aspect 16:9
output.mpg
