After the downloading the tftpboot.img to the indy it just hangs. here is the output from boot()/tftpboot.img: enter loadbin bootp()/tftpboot.img bootpopen: ctlr 0, file /tftpboot.img bootpopen: host <NULL>, file /tftpboot.img getrand returns 33754 send BOOTP request: ciaddr 0.0.0.0, chaddr 8:0:69:6:e8:49 arpresolve ip 255.255.255.255 -> broadcast udp port error BOOTP reply from (10.0.0.201): file tftpboot.img, myiaddr 10.0.0.223, giaddr 0.0 Setting $netaddr to 10.0.0.223 (from server ) dlserver = 10.0.0.201 TFTP: RRQ for file tftpboot.img to 10.0.0.201 arpresolve ip 10.0.0.201 -> ether 0:10:b5:45:55:b5 Obtaining /tftpboot.img from server bootpread: ctlr 0, buf a874a000, count 4 binary is COFF bootpread: ctlr 0, buf a874a004, count 72 bootpread: ctlr 0, buf a8766b00, count 120 2027520bootpread: ctlr 0, buf 88002000, count 2027520 +1762928bootpread: ctlr 0, buf 88208ff8, count 1762928 +95120 entry: 0x8800246c load noreloc err 0 bootpclose: ctlr 0 loadbin: return 0 On Thu, 2002-07-25 at 14:38, Daniel Schrock wrote: > On Thu, Jul 25, 2002 at 02:11:53PM -0700, no-exit wrote: > > I would like to install debian-mips on one of my Indy's but the > > HD is clean, No IRIX or SASH. > > If there currently anyway to get linux up and running on it? > > I cannot bootp() since SASH is not there. > > > > Please help. > > Thanks. > > > > > ?? you don't need SASH. all you need is to be able to get into the boot console.
