Hi Fernando,

please note that although similar, the layouts of the Debian menu and the
FreeDesktop menu are not the same.

The file debian/boing-manager.desktop is ruled by the FreeDesktop entry
specification (http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/latest/).

Since this file is not Debian-specific, maybe you can ask Upstream where they
would like their program to be sorted in the FreeDesktop menu, modify
debian/boing-manager.desktop and forward it to them (after validating it with
the command ‘desktop-file-validate’). Then, you can modify
debian/boing-manager.menu in a way that takes the best concordance between our
menu policy and Upstream's decisions for the FreeDesktop menu.

Have a nice day,
