Bug#997842: atril: Forms don't allow non-Latin-2 diacritics
Package: atril
Version: 1.24.0-1+b1
Severity: important
Tags: l10n

Dear Maintainer,
when filling forms in the pdf document using Atril, characters with certain diacritics are not shown after leaving the field and changing the focus to some other
part of the document. The disappearing characters are the following: ő and ű (these are important characters in the Hungarian alphabet). None of these exist in Latin-2 characterset.
Characters from Latin-2 with non-English diacritics do not disappear, e.g. ó, ü, é, á, etc.
Please mind that the software detects and stores the information about the disappearing characters -- they are just not shown. If I click back to the particular field, the characters are
shown in the edit-mode, but only while the focus is on the field.
