Thanks for the info on daily, it was looping when i first tried on write partitions to disk. (info for that was posted in irc) however today it works and i'm producing working builds with an installer....tho it seems without firmware....

done in git as well, thanks.

d-i releases for non-stable are out of date almost always, use daily
instead (--debian-installer-distribution daily).
