Fwd: Processed: severity of 269703 is serious, affects 269703 [origin: owner@bugs.debian.org]

Hi Lintian Maintainers,

the newest lintian upload caused the following bug:

Unpacking lintian (2.5.23.1) over (2.5.22.1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/lintian_2.5.23.1_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/lintian/overrides/lintian', which is also in package funny-manpages 1.3-5
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)

However this is surely no bug in lintian and hence I don't report the
usual "Package: a,b" report.

And that issue has been reported 10 years ago, long before lintian had
it's own override:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=269703

I've raised the severity accordingly and marked it as "affects
lintian". See attached mail. ("bts --cc lintian@packages.debian.org"
failed for some reason unclear to me. I just got lists.debian.org's
help as reply.)
