Bug#540294: lintian: Check if Vcs field and distribution in changelog match
Package: lintian
Version: 2.2.13
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
>From time to time I see a package that was uploaded to experimental but
its Vcs- fields point to the unstable branch, or the other way round.
I think it would be nice to try to catch these cases. For example if the
field contains 'experimental', but the distribution is unstable, it's
probably wrong.
Thanks,
Emilio
