Re: Laptop install woes

I have nothing to add to what Daniel Pittman said, except that I wanted to
tell you that I have a Dell Inspiron 3200. I installed Debian 2.1 on it almost
two years ago without any problems, so it can be done.
I used the Linux on laptop resources Daniel mentioned. There are some (or were
at that time) specifically for my model of machine. Perhaps for yours too.
Regarding the mouse specifically, I just chose the PS/2 mouse in my kernel
build. Worked without a hitch then, and has for each update I've made of the
kernel since.
