Re: Xenoppix(Xen3.0.2+KNOPPIX5.0.1)CD is released
Hi Suzaki,
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 socket 939
RAM: DDR400, 1G
Broadband connection: via ADSL modem, dialup
Further to my late posting, have
"knoppix_v4.0.2CD_20050923_xen-20051212+IPAFont.iso" burned on DVD-RW.
Tests performed as follows;
1)
Started Xen
following warnings displayed during booting;
Warning:
Currently emulating unsupported memory accesses in /lib/tls libraries.
The emulation is very slow. To ensure full performance you should
execute the following as root.
mv /lib/tls /lib/tls.disabled
Warning:
modprobe: FATAL:error inserting 8250 (/lib/modules/2.6.11-xen0/kernel/
drivers/serial/8250.ko): Device or resource busy.
X-window failed to start only a black screen resulted.
2)
Started NetBSD-NAT
The above 2 warnings also displayed during booting. After taking a
prolonged time to boot, NetBSD finally started but the USB mouse died.
I have no way to play around on NetBSD-NAT
Haven't tested Plan9-NAT.
Is there any way to boost booting avoiding waiting for a prolonged
time?
TIA
B.R.
