Well, it seems safer to have both modules available. Apparently, what
you said is also true for USB keyboards, which are already handled by
hid instead of usbkbd, so I added two entries:
alias usbmouse mousedev
alias usbkbd hid
which should take care of some peoblems reported from USB keyboard/mice
users. Hope this is the right solution. Both does not seem to be
necessary for any of the USB devices that I have tried so far, though.
