[debian-knoppix] Help using Knoppix kernel config to get framebuffer working
I've got a machine that I'm installing Debian testing on. When I boot the
machine from the Kopix CD, I get a working framebuffer console, so I know
this can be done.
At this point, I have done the following:
1. Built a kernel using the Knopping kernel config (with some fileystems
dleetedm and the one i'm using compiled into the kernel) (2.4.20)
2. run MAKEDEV fb
3. added agpgart, and mga to /etc/modules
4. added the append vag=xxx sattment to lilo.conf from the Knoppix version.
Still no working frambuffer, whne i boot from the hard drive.
What am I overlooking?
