Dear Maintainer,
Please enable the CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTPLUG_DEFAULT_ONLINE on arch amd64/x86_64,
on Debian Trixie.
Currently all newly hot-plugged memory remains in 'offline' state and manual
actions are required to bring it online.
To make things work automagically CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTPLUG_DEFAULT_ONLINE option
was introduced. This option sets the default policy setting for memory hotplug
onlining policy (/sys/devices/system/memory/auto_online_blocks) which
determines what happens to newly added memory regions. Policy setting
can always be changed at runtime.
A MR was created with this proposal at:

Thanks,
Miguel Bernal Marin
