After lots of more tests, it seems that the problem is related to IOMMU issues:
[ 272.245939] DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 3
For now, setting intel_iommu=on iommu=pt avoids further errors.
Maybe setting iommu=soft also works, but not tested yet.
