Hello, dear maintainers,
Same symptoms as bug #763155
Black screen right after the first "systemd-fsck", at a time when normally the screen is wiped and the graphical resolution changes before the following "systemd-fsck".
Occurs with all 3.16 kernels, the last I tested is 3.16.0-4-686-pae.
Adding "i915.modeset=0" in the linux command line runs well, but with a poor resolution (800x600).
Old kernel 3.14-2-686-pae works well.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
