Package: firmware-misc-nonfree
Version: 20161130-3
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,
In addition to the already provided '/lib/firmware/i915/skl_dmc_ver1_26.bin' firmware file
for the Intel 'Skylake' integrated GPU architecture, please consider including also the 2
additional 'HuC' and 'GuC' packages, respectively claimed to assist with HEVC media operations
and parallel workload scheduling.

The compressed firmware files are available from:

https://01.org/sites/default/files/downloads/intelr-graphics-linux/sklhucver01071398.tar_0.bz2

https://01.org/sites/default/files/downloads/intelr-graphics-linux/sklgucver933.tar_0.bz2

... and more generally, it would appear very desireable to try and include within this Debian
package further firmwares from:

https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads

One may perhaps consider collecting such content within a separate 'firmware-intel-graphics'
new package, to keep things neat.

Thank you very much,
--
Alberto.
