Re: IPV6_ROUTER_PREF (Etch)
That would be the only option, I'm afraid. As far as I know, you can't compile this as a module, so you will have to recompile the kernel with this specific option set.

Hi all,
is there any reason why:
$ grep -i IPV6_ROUTER_PREF /boot/config-2.6.18-4-686
# CONFIG_IPV6_ROUTER_PREF is not set
isn't enabled in the standard kernel config (Debian Etch)? And 2nd
question: What to do to get this enabled? Recompiling kernel packages
and all depending packages is not an option for me.
