Dear Aron and debian-input-method members, I just received my new Debian Developer account (byang@debian.org) days ago and my old account is 073plan@gmail.com (@hosiet-guest in Salsa GitLab). I heard from Salsa administrators that [1] the accounts on Salsa GitLab will not be merged automatically and I have to rejoin all teams using the new account again. I requested to join https://salsa.debian.org/input-method-team/ with @byang account and was granted a Developer role. However, my old account was of Maintainer role since I was working on fcitx-related packages extensively and was creating many repositories under input-method-team namespace (and repository creation needs Maintainer role). I had a conversation with Aron and he granted me a new Maintainer role for my new account; after that, I exited the input-method-team using my old account (since that is not necessary anymore). However, I just received a notification that my new account was downgraded to a Developer role... I have no idea that which admin performed that action, perhaps that was made by accident; I do hope that I could restore the Maintainer role inside input-method-team so that I could continue working for IME-related packages in Debian. -- Regards, Boyuan Yang [1] https://salsa.debian.org/salsa/support/issues/100
