You seem to have the same misunderstanding as one of my old
math professors. No response often (and IMHO also in this
case) means that things are quite fine.
I liked what you have written - and even forwarded it to an
acquaintance of mine on the Danish KDE translation team. :-)
I am not yet sufficiently familiar with the Debian
documentation to comment on the exact placement of your
text, but the general content of it is good.
