It had to be changed to root=device:hd1s6 (grub-mkconfig is not
creating correct configurations).
grub2 version is 1.97+20091210 (sid version).
But now ./native-install is not working because root filesystem is
mounted read-only
./native-install
sh: start_pipeline: pgrp pipe: Address family not supported by protocol
./native-install: line 16: /dev/null: Read-only file system
./native-install: cannot make pipe for command substitution: Address
family not supported by protocol
Checking if the filesystem is really writeable..
failed to identify system
and there is no /etc/fstab /dev just has MAKEDEV
Any ideas to get native-install to run?
or is crosshurd not a good way to install GNU/Hurd anymore?
