'(ipc/mig) bad request msg ID' error
hi:
when i try to execute the native-install script there are a lot of
errors of this type. a couple of examples:
- cannot get ENOENT value from /var/lib/dpkg/enoent: (ipc/mig) bad request msg ID at /sbin/update-alternatives line 28
- /var/lib/dpkg/info/base-passwd.postinst: cannot make pipes for command substitution: (ipc/mig) bad request msg ID
yes, you've guessed, i can't even complete the intallation :(
the last messages before the prompt were:
/libexec/console-run: /dev/console: Not a terminal
and then 2 msgs informing that the console in use was /tmp/console.
ahm, this happens whith the latest tarball, of course ;) (althought
whith the deprecated cross-intall method generated the same errors)
am i doing sth grong? it's a bug? can i help debugging? ...
aburinho!!
