Adam, could you check the latest 2.3.2 ?  And if you also have
problem, then please answer Jeff Bailey's question?

If it's Xandros issue, and you need to support your libc6, then it's
good idea and free to apply this patch your distro.  However if we
merge your patch, we need to know this bug is occured even in the
latest 2.3.2.
