hardly be expected to pass an option for every subdir of the STL,
can I?
Please integrate the -dbg package better with gdb.

no, it has to be compiled using the headers in the source, not using
the installed headers.

and you put /usr/include/c++/3.4 and /usr/include/c++/4.0 in there, or
which ones?
